Tokyo Day 1

Konichiwa! I'm now in Tokyo!

So happy to be able to fly with Singapore Airlines; the service was so good!

Arrived at Narita Airport at 7am. I took a walk around Tokyo as I waited for my 友達 to arrive. After that, we caught a airport bus to our hotel.

Udon in Japan; 美味しかったです!

We could only check in at 3pm so we went to Tokyo Skytree. There's a lot of souvenirs shop! I bought clothes from Cecil Mcbee. Cecil Mcbee is one of my favourite Japanese brand!

Super cute Hello Kitty!

We went back to our hotel to check in and rest for a little while.

After that, we headed out for dinner at a bar! Nomihondai plus free flow of tibits =)

(Bar: Amazakedagashi at Nihonbashi)

Will be going to Harajuku/Shibuya tomorrow! :)

Perth Royal Show!

I went to Perth Royal Show this year with my friend, Nicole. We bought our little sisters along! They are both 10 years old :)

We went around 2pm~ It was bright and sunny at first... but it started to rain around 3pm! Glad it stopped raining after 20 minutes.

Cute poodle!

My sister is an animal lover!

Pretty cakes... they are real cakes!

I want the sushi 'cupcakes' for my birthday! Kawaii~ The cat cake looks so real!

Pretty wedding cake... Mr right, where are you??? :(

We took this to the rides section. Our legs were killing us. hahaha

With my sister! :)

The view from the top.

We didn't go on the rides tho~ Played many games but we didn't win any big soft toy prices! Jamie won a tiny snake soft toy lol.

The showbags are amazing!

Since today is the last day, the Marie Claire, CLEO, Girlfriend etc showbags are on sale! Only $10 for one showbag. Usually it will cost around $25! Good deal =) Nicole and I bought 3 each.  The showbags are so heavy! Luckily I drove and parked 5 mins away from the showground (Claremont oval parking $15 for the whole day)

If you are planning to go to the royal show next year. Stay for the fireworks.
One word to describe: Daebak!

Going to Tokyo in 3 weeks' time! Will be blogging about my trip :)

I will go to Korea for 5 weeks!

Curtin Open Day!

I reckon Curtin Open Day was a huge success because when I arrived at 11:45am, I couldn't find a parking spot. Cars, cars everywhere~ I have to start work at 12noon so I quickly parked at the reverse parking area. Luckily, I didn't get a fine! I think we are not allowed to park in the reverse parking even on weekends.

Look at our awesome airport theme! Thumbs up to Beth, Corrine and the Open Day Marketing team! :)

Anyway, I'm in love with Jumpling's dumplings. They are sooooo good :) My dad came to Uni to try them today and he ended buying 3 boxes of dumplings @.@

Semester 2

Since the start of Semester 1, I'm at Curtin University 5 days a week (because I work there). I was busy... full time work, catching up with friends and meeting up with my then bf. After my one year relationship with JS ended in April, I had more free time. Sooooo, I want to do something useful for my career + personal self development. Semester 2 is starting soon; 5th of August and I'm going to be a student again!

On Wednesdays, I will be at Curitn from 9am to 9pm!!! I'm studying Master of Human Resource Management part time; doing 1 unit per semester. Well, if I'm still working in uni when my contract ends in June next year, I will continue my Masters. If not, I think I will exit with a Graduate Certificate after completion of 4 units. I like working at Curtin so hopefully I can get a permanent job there :) Also, I started taking up Japanese classes at Central Tafe on Monday nights. My first Japanese lesson at Central Tafe was good. I studied Japanese at Curtin for 2 and a half years... I wanna continue learning Japanese.
私は少し日本語を話すことができます。

I'm going to Japan with Lixuan in October! =)

Next week is Curtin's orientation week & open day!

みなさん, がんばってください!(皆さん頑張ってください)

Weekend!

Weekend is finally here!

It was a very very busy week! Onshore international students' application closing day was yesterday. There were so many students who came to apply, students who came to accept their offer and stressed students who came because they needed help (Curtin's results were released that week^^) Actually, the next 2 weeks will be even busier~ I need to learn to have more patience with students.

Caught up with Adeline on Thursday. We went to Taro Taro; we miss Taiwan!
Adeline and I went on to Taiwan together last year :)

Taro Taro; Taiwanese food
Last Thursday, I went late night shopping with Eunice (Carousel). I went to Valley Girl and I bought 3 blazers; light blue, dark blue and black. I really like the green blazer but I thought maybe 3 is enough... Went back this week and there wasn't any size 8 left... :(

Accidentally soaked my iPhone in water for 5 minutes today. I can still use it but it isn't working properly. I can't turn off my phone and there is water condensation on my camera lens. I googled and found out that the best way to dry it is to put my iPhone in a zip lock bag of rice. Hope it works!

What's your name?

Hi,

it's been ages since I blogged. Time passed so fast, I have graduated from Curtin University with a double degree; Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Asian Studies. I am now working full time as a Marketing Relations Officer at Curtin University (International Office)

The last few months were amazing! DAEBAK! I went to Japan (3 weeks) in November 2012, Taiwan (7 weeks) in December 2012 and Korea (1 week) in April 2013.

Read about my 6 weeks AIESEC Curtin Go Volunteer Exchange at Taiwan's Nei Ding Elementary School (內定國小) http://whats-yourname.blogspot.com.au/ (I will update regularly there)
